Zombie Happenings

Of course, as luck would have it, the moment I blog about the Festival of the Dead and the Retro Zombie Ball, word comes back to me that the Retro Zombie Ball on October 10th has been canceled (((Gasp!))).

There are plenty of other parties and events scheduled during the Festival of the Dead, so do check out that web site for other inspired ways to spend your time in Salem.

And if you MUST be a Zombie (we all have those days, right?), check out Salem State College's second annual Zombie Dance. This year they are bringing the dance downtown to Salem Common.

You can thrill downtown Salem with your zombie dance moves on Saturday, October 24. There will be a workshop from 11am - 2pm and a performance on the Salem Common at 2 pm. Dress yourself up, brush off your Thriller moves, grab your camera, and come on down!

For information on the Zombie Dance, contact Salem State's Center for the Arts at 978-5442-7890 or visit: www.salemstate.edu/arts
