Lighthouses, Foliage, Chowda... and Ghosts... on Salem Harbor

Mahi Mahi Harbor Cruises has announced their fall cruise schedule.  Mahi Mahi is a great way to see Salem and the surrounding towns.  The crew is fantastic, the drinks are cold, the grill is hot, and the views are lovely.  If you haven't done a harbor cruise, this is the year!

Mahi Mahi sails from Salem Willows during through September, and from Pickering Wharf near Finz in October.

A photographer's dream! Join us to take in the changing colors of fall as we seek out five historic lighthouses on this hour and forty-five minute narrated cruise. Throughout the cruise informative details will be revealed as passengers closely cruise by Salem?s Pickering and Derby Light, Beverly?s Hospital Point Lighthouse, Marblehead?s Chandler Hover Lighthouse, and of course the famous yet isolated Bakers Island Light of the Misery Islands that can only be closely seen by boat. Warm up with a complementary cup of fresh clam chowder while you comfortably view the beautiful transition from summer to winter. (*please note - although September is one of our favorite months to be out on the water, there is little foliage color. Salem's best foliage is often see mid October).

Salem Trolley releases Tales & Tombstones Dates!

Salem Trolley has just released their special October Tales & Tombstones trolley tour schedule.  This ghostly nighttime tour takes you through Salem after dusk, showing you a Salem of occult and paranormal.  

You will visit scenes of grisly murders and ghastly executions, hear tales of ghosts, both mischievous and malevolent, of Salem's haunted hotels and restaurants of long forgotten underground passageways, ancient curses and legends of ghost ships and haunted islands. 
 
Experience all of this and more as you ride the Salem Trolley's Eerie Evening Tour and explore Salem of the Shadows.  The tour is approximately 1 hour long and departs from 8 Central Street.  Tickets cost  $20.00 for adults, $15.00 for Seniors (60+) , and $10.00 for Children (6-14).
